Does the 3 pin ev charger cable need to be installed?

No, as long as a UK standard socket is available, no installation is required to use the EV charging cable. Whether at home or on the road.
In which order should the cable be connected?

Step 1: Insert the 3 pin plug into the socket.

Step 2: Set the current and delay time.

Step 3: Insert the Type 2 plug into the vehicle's charging socket.
Why does the EVDANCE 3-pin EV charger support 13A?

The current is adjustable, with 13A being the most suitable for temporary emergency charging while on the move.
How do I select the current when using the charger?

Higher amps lead to faster charging but also generate more heat in the socket.

13A: For emergency charging while traveling.

10A: For regular home use. Use 8A or 6A if other devices are running.

6A/8A: Best for safe overnight charging.
What guaran-tees can I get?

We offer a 2-year guaran-tees(for quality issues only. Excludes surface marks due to use, normal ageing due to normal use and damage to electronic components due to improper use).

ADJUSTABLE CURRENT: You can choose between 6A, 8A, 10A, or 13A. 13A is best for emergency charging when traveling.10A is best for home use, but please use 8A when running multiple devices. 6A/8A - Recommended for overnight charging for added securit. If you choose a current of over 10A, it is best to use a double-pole socket (13A), and please do not use more than one electrical appliance at a time on the socket.
CURRENT & TIME ADJUSTABLE - Simply adjust the charging current between 6-13A, adjust the charging time between 1-12 hours, providing a customised charging experience and helping to avoid expensive peak hour electricity bills.
SAFE AND RELIABLE: It automatically stops charging when the vehicle is fully charged. It has built-in safe protection for PEN faults, over/under voltage protection, thermal overload, and 30mA AC.
