Product Description

Vlieseline H640 Volume Fleece Batting is a soft, medium loft, iron-on fleece interfacing, ideal for for topstitch work and quilting, relief work such as voluminous tiebacks or braidings, as well as for warm clothing. Best suited to light-to-medium weight fabrics H640 has a weight of 131 grams per square metre. Being easy to work with H640 is one of the thickest iron-on battings available, having high resistance to slippage during stitching and remaining well in place. H640 is made from a blend of 40% R-PES / 60% PES (Polyesters) synthetic fibres which is also fusible and can be ironed on. This is done by applying the interlining with the coated side facing the reverse side of the fabric, covering with a damp cloth and ironing for around 15 seconds, working your way along section by section and not pushing the iron, then, finally after fixing, laying the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise. Measuring 90cm wide H630 is sold from half metre lengths right up to the 30 metre roll. It can also be supplied as fat quarters. This batting is White and is size 3 Metre.
