THE ORIGINAL STICK ON RIM PROTECTOR THAT STARTED OUR COMPANY IS BACK FOR 2023. THESE USED TO BE CALLED JUST RIMBLADES MANY YEARS AGO WHEN WE FIRST STARTED AND ARE OUR OWN ORIGINAL DESIGN, WHICH HAS BEEN COPIED BY MANY, BUT NEVER EQUALLED IN TERMS OF QUALITY. AN OFFSET CURVED RIM PROTECTOR THAT IS TRULY UNIVERSAL FITTING AND FITS ANY WHEEL RIM WITH A CONTINUOUS MOUNTING SURFACE. THE ORIGINAL AND FIRST MASS PRODUCED ADHESIVE RIM PROTECTOR AND THE ONE THAT STARTED A GLOBAL TREND.

Brand new tooling for 2023, new material, new tape and due to numerous requests for such, we've added a joint cover that bonds to the area where they are cut to size for a professional looking finish. Rimblades Original are a great value product designed to offer alloy rim protection from light kerb impact at parking speeds and additionally as a colour trim ring styling upgrade or to cover existing damage on your alloy wheels. They also offer a good amount of wheel protection against small road debris (flying gravel chips, for example) and parking scrapes.

UNIVERSAL FITTING

Due to the unique patented profile, Rimblades Original are conformable to a multitude of different wheel shapes (although they do require a continuous surface). Rimblades Original require cutting to size during each application, and are supplied in 4 x 2.1 metre lengths and will fit wheels up to and including 24” in diameter.

HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

Rimblades Original are manufactured from Santoprene by Exxon Mobil, which is from the TPV family of materials, so although technically a plastic, it has the look & feel of a high quality rubber. Santoprene is a very expensive raw material costing triple that of normal plastics.

CONSTRUCTION

Rimblades Original have a thin wire core running through the centre of the profile to prevent the wheel rim protector from ever stretching or shrinking due to extreme temperatures. Rimblades Original are factory fitted with a genuine 3M Automotive grade VHB (Very High Bond) tape with an orange heavy duty liner.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Rimblades WILL NOT bond to silicone on the rims from tyre shine dressings. 99% of Rimblades failures are caused by tyre shine and people not following this simple instruction. If you have a new car from a dealership or your car is detailed regularly you will also NEED our silicone tyre shine remover or they WILL fall off. We cannot stress how important this is.
