What's in the Box* (PNP Version)

You're getting the Plug-N-Play kit. This means we've handled the component sourcing for the core propulsion system. You just have to build it.

• Airframe: The complete Hero VTOL foam & carbon fibre airframe. Fuselage, wings, V-tail, booms, and all the hardware bits.
• VTOL Propulsion: 4x MFE 5008 450kV motors, 4x 50A ESCs, and 2x pairs of 1555 Carbon Props.
• Forward Propulsion: 1x X3520 500kV motor, 1x 100A ESC, and 1x APC 1510 Propeller.
• Control: All required MFE 3054 servos, a 10A UBEC, and the PNP wiring kit.

What You Need to Bring (Don't Forget This)

This is PNP, not magic. You need to supply the brains and the rest of the mission-critical gear. This includes, but is not limited to, your Autopilot & GPS (like a Cube Orange), a Power Module , your RC Controller & Receiver , a long-range Telemetry Radio , and a suitably massive 6S LiPo Battery (we suggest at least 16,000mAh). Choose wisely; your project depends on it.

The nose cabin design is open source, so you can 3D print your own mounts—we trust you not to screw it up. Mostly. The payload bay is a cavernous 144x160x80mm, ready to swallow a Sony A7R or your five-lens mapping rig. Inside, the flight control bay is layered for obsessive cable management, with dedicated spots for your flight controller, PPK, and GPS, far from any noisy electronics. Even the battery bay is massive (326x110x78mm), fitting up to a 6S 30,000mAh brick. Happy now?
