The Pinger takes a minimalistic approach akin to classic surfboards. Simple yet aesthetically stunning, the deck is a torsion flex with a wing pintail carved out of natural bamboo or Baltic birch for the right balance of springy stretch and stability. The teardrop deck measuring 5ft 7in, captures the shape and feel of the timeless surfboards that first tamed the Banzai Pipeline of North Shore Oahu. This is a dream board for anyone who wants to work on footwork, cross-stepping, noseriding or loves more speed release out of turns.

Choose the HST truck set which suits your skill and style. All HST trucks give 30° degrees of board lean and allow the ultimate rail-to-rail flow They are mounted on massive 24mm riser blocks and clad with a set of Hamboards signature chocolate brown 90mm cast polyurethane wheels. The wheels are buttery smooth and literally kick-out small rocks before you can ride over them.

Which HST Trucks should you get?

Hamboards produces trucks with four different pivot angles, 55°, 40°, 20° and 0°. After years of testing and customer feedback, we have identified three setups which cover the majority of skill levels and customer riding styles.

HST 40°/40° — "Dig and Carve"

The 40°/40° configuration delivers equal front and rear turning, letting you throw the tail of your board just like you're hitting the lip of a wave and carving back down the face. Once you're at speed, you have complete control over your ride—from easy cruising and technical footwork to wide-open shredding that digs deep into every turn. HST 55°/20° — "Pump and Glide"

The 55°/20° configuration creates the perfect balance of front drive and rear stability, making it ideal for practicing footwork and cross-stepping while maintaining deep rail control when you need it.
