It is suitable as a spare part - e.g. for accident repairs or simply to replace old and worn parts with new ones. The hood is coated with a special protective varnish, just like an original hood. This protective varnish is used solely to protect against rust during storage and shipping. Further pre-treatment and painting is then carried out by the painter.
