The Silver Dollar Deadlift traces its roots back to the USA in the 1800's as a strongman feat of strength. Athletes would lift two barrels filled with silver dollars connected by a bar, often as part of strongman shows and circus sideshows. The event gained prominence in 1981 when it was featured in the World's Strongest Man competition at Magic Mountain, California, bringing it into mainstream strongman competitions. The modern version involves a barbell with boxes mounted on the sleeves, loaded with weights, and lifted from an elevated position. The starting height for the Silver Dollar Deadlift is 18 inches. This event remains a staple in major competitions worldwide, with the current world record set by CERBERUS Athlete Rauno Heinla of Estonia, lifting 580kg at the 2022 Silver Dollar Deadlift Championships.
CERBERUS Silver Dollar Deadlift Attachments bring this legendary strongman event to your home or gym. Designed for ease of use, these attachments weigh just 13.5 kg each and fit 50mm barbell sleeves. Simply slide them onto your barbell ends, secure them with collars (we recommend CERBERUS Lock-Jaw PRO 2 Collars), and load your plates onto the attachment's 32cm loading pins. The setup automatically positions the barbell at the official 18-inch starting height required for the Silver Dollar Deadlift.

CERBERUS Silver Dollar Deadlift Attachments are built to handle maximum weight and feature:
Unlike using blocks or racks to achieve the 18-inch starting height, these attachments replicate the unique "feel" of the Silver Dollar Deadlift by altering the centre of gravity, increasing movement of the weight, and adding length to the weight. This design challenges your strength in a way that is truer to the traditional lift.
