2. If your car is a PCM3.1 system WITHOUT a BOSE fiber optic amplifier, this unit can fit it directly.

a). If your car is a PCM3.1 system WITH a BOSE fiber optic amplifier, you need to order the Fiber-Optic Decoder Box PC001 to aid in the installation.

b). If your car is a PCM4.0 system WITHOUT a BOSE fiber optic amplifier, you need to order the PCM4.0 Quadlock Connector PCM40-Q to aid in the installation.

c). If your car is a PCM4.0 system WITH a BOSE fiber optic amplifier, this unit does not fit, please do not place the order.

It is strongly suggested to read through the pictures following on how to distinguish between system PCM3.1 and PCM4.0.
